Period and survey
Period and Survey always come first in the bar. They are fixed context filters and cannot be removed. On a weekly or monthly dashboard, Period offers:- All
- Today, Yesterday
- This week, Last week
- This month, Last month
- This quarter, Last quarter
- This year, Last year
- Custom range
If the dashboard was set up with a Survey-based time period, Period lists the actual run times of your surveys as date ranges instead.
What else you can filter by
Alongside period and survey, you have:- Employee attributes — the groups you have defined for your employees, such as “Department”, “Location” or “Gender”. See Attributes explained for more.
- Survey properties — the properties your surveys are categorised by in your account.
- Questions — the answers to a single question, to narrow the dashboard down to a particular group of respondents.
More filters
Not everything available sits in the bar. More filters opens the full list and lets you show an additional filter, which then appears directly in the bar. This addition is not saved to the dashboard; it applies to your current view only. The cross on the More filters chip — Remove added filters — takes all of the additionally shown filters back out.Reset all filters
As soon as at least one filter is set, Reset all filters appears at the end of the bar. One click clears everything at once, instead of opening each filter in turn.Your filter selection lives in the browser’s address bar. If you copy the URL and pass it on, the other person sees the same dashboard with the same filters — provided they are allowed to see the data.
Configuring the filter bar
You decide which filters stay in the bar, and in which order.- Open More filters.
- Click Configure filter bar… at the bottom.
